Carrying extra fat around your middle dramatically increases your risk of early death, even if your overall weight is normal, say researchers.
A study of almost 360,000 people from nine European countries found waist size a "powerful indicator" of risk.
Each extra 2ins (5cm) raised the chance of early death by between 13% and 17%.
The New England Journal of Medicine study stressed GPs should regulraly measure patients' waists as a cheap and easy way to assess health.
The researchers, including some from Imperial College London, followed the volunteers, who were an average of 51 years old at the start of the study, for the next 10 years, during which time 14,723 of them died.
The standard measure of obesity, body mass index (BMI) remained a reasonable predictor of health problems, with those with a high reading more likely to die from cardiovascular disease or cancer.

healthy food

Nowadays people like to eat junk foods which is unhealthy food for the human body. It affects the body in a negative way, some people don’t care about what they eat or what does it cover. It has Many problems like, obesity, cancer, and high cholesterol. In researches of 1990, they saw that the hotdog and the cold meat cause pancreas cancer, the oiled food contains cancer diseases, the pizza let the diabetes pressure comes high, and the white bread causes diabetes(all these are the same mistake - try not to use 'the' when speaking generally using singular nouns). But in those days which we are living now, many people suffer from the (delete) bad health that they got, they need to eat healthy food to be a good human body again, like the (delete) broccoli, it has many vitamins, and it helps the body not to be affected by the (delete) cancer. In addition it helps the mood to be good. in my opinion to eat healthy food is better than eating junk food which let the people less exercising and feeling lazy.

Technology is growing too fast and new things are entering to the shop’s but the most common thing is the mobile phone . mobile phones were first public in to the market in 1983 by Motorola Company this phone were confined to car phones after few years a new mobile that could be taken outside of the car but the problem was the size of this phone so big like the size of a large briefcase . during 1990 technology was moving fast and the second generation was none it had smaller battery’s and was faster. After few years the third generation was in the market and most people around the world use this type This new technology is not only capable of transferring voice data but it is also able to transfer other types of data, including emails, information and instant messages and the new phones now have internet high quality, camera and mp3 .
Mobile phones are were none now and everyone has one even old people and kids .
Hope they will do a new kind that will be much easy, faster and smaller .

my favorite room

My favorite spot in my home is my bedroom; I think it is the best place because it is the only place where I can have privacy without anyone disturbing me and it is the most quite place in the house without kids running around the other reason that makes my love my room because I have all the right to control it especially when it comes to the temperature because I really like the room to be so cold and everyone hates that so I just can rise the temp in my room; I love sitting in my room alone for hours just relaxing and listening to music or surfing the net , I like inviting my friends to my room and we like to sit all together chatting about the latest gossips. White and really really light yellow is the color of my room and it makes me feel comfortable and cozy, on the wall there is a long mirror that helps me to get ready everyday, on the other side of the room I have a mini fridge where I keep soft drinks and some snacks for me, I like to grab any book and read it before I sleep so at the back of my bed I have a shelf where and I keep my books and stories.

My favorite song is “take a bow” by rehanna, I like this song because it has really meant full lyrics. the story of the song is that a women caught her boyfriend cheating on her and after what he did he wants to apologize but she doesn’t accept his apology and she says to him to pack his clothes and end the drama show which was very entertaining and needs an audience to applause for his good acting; I think this song is very powerful and strong and it really makes me think about people who do bad things should not be forgiven especially if those people messed up your life and think they can get away with it every time they mess up . My favorite thing of the song is the music, it is very calm and slow which I really enjoy. I like watching the video clip of “take a bow” it is really interesting and funny but sad, all in the same time; what really attracted me to the song was rehanna’s new look she had a new haircut and nice tattoo at the back of her neck and the song took place in a very nice and beautiful house with modern furniture.

My name is Fatima Hammad I am seventeen years old I have just finished high school these year and entered the university I completed level six and I am so happy to go to the next level, first, I will talk about my family well I live with both my parents five sisters Maryam, Aisha, Ahood, Hissa and Noora and one brother Ahmed My Aunt and my grandmother. We all live in one big house in Abu Dhabi. when I am alone I like to set on my laptop and chat with my friends and to get to know more girls, I also like to sit in front of the T.V for long hours and one of my favorite things is shopping I like shopping so much that when I am angry I like buy more stuff then when I am happy I also enjoy seeing other people buying stuff but my favorite thing to do is sleeping I can sleep where and when ever I want. and the most thing I really like about myself that I have the guts to try new food , and I do not have a favorite kind of food I like it all Indian , Chinese , Italian and Lebanese .and my favorite film that are beast on a truth story from the real life I also like Action and of course comedy . Well about the books I do not have a favorite book because I hate reading, but now I am trying to read one and I hope that I finish it. And the most important thing is my thoughts for the future well I like to study accounting in Zayed University and graduate in a high score.

My partner s name is Moza she is from Al Ain but she lives now in Abu Dhabi. Moza is an eighteens year old girl with a medium height, white skin, dark black hair and dark brown eyes. Moza lives with both her parents, two sisters which are Mariam and Aisha and three Brothers Mohammed, Abdulla and Humaid. They all live in a very big house that has a big garden in officer city.
